STUDENT UNIFORM COMPLIANCE INFORMATION

The goal of the Young Achievers Christian Academy Private School’s dress code is that students present themselves in a clean and neat manner as a representation of YACA.  While we recognize the uniqueness of each student and seek to develop individuality, it is also important for each student to understand the concept of appropriate dress for particular situations.

UNIFORM ATTIRE

Polo shirts with the Young Achievers Christian Academy logo may be yellow, baby blue, and white.  Uniform pants, shorts, skirts, and jumpers must be khaki or navy blue, (cargo pants or jeggings are NOT a part of the uniform and will not be acceptable). Outer wear worn in the classroom must be navy and does not have to include the school logo. Spirit wear is the preferred choice from a school approved company that carries all school spirit wear.  Hats may not be worn inside the building.

School students, grades Kindergarten through Eighth Grade participating in PE must wear the PE uniform which consists of a Young Achievers Christian Academy t-shirt, mesh shorts, and gym shoes, (Converse are not acceptable).  Please purchase the PE uniform through U Big T’s.
Uniforms will be the expectation four days each week, Tuesday through Wednesday, with Monday being designated for free dress and Friday designated for spirit wear attire.  Shirts are to be tucked in at all times and pants will be worn with a black or brown belt. If socks or stockings (tights) are visible they must coordinate with school required colors of navy, black, or brown.

Students must wear solid neutral colored tennis, (white, navy, brown, or black) shoes or dress shoes with the school uniform.
Pants may not be low riding or sagging.  Students should look neat in appearance even on casual day.  Clothes may not be ripped, worn or out of season.  All casual attire must be clean and in good condition.

HAIR

Unnatural hair colors are acceptable during the school year, with the exception of pink, purple, blue, green, silver, orange, etc. Students may not have hair decorations that does not must match the uniform solid navy, white, yellow, khaki or YACA plaid.

CHAPEL ATTIRE

Chapel attire is khaki or navy pants/YACA Plaid skirts or jumpers worn with a white, yellow, or baby blue dress shirt and dress shoes.   The YACA logo does not have to be on dress shirts.
